Bopharath Duong, was born and raised in a small Country in Asia, Cambodia. Growing up in a capital city Phnom Penh, She became enamored with fashion by watching her favorite country music legends to perform and walk the red carpet. Bopharath began cultivating her creative design eye by helping two of her cousin sisters prepare their wardrobe for national pageants.
Bopharath being extremely pretty, beautiful participated in Miss Cambodia and stood runner up. She had an argus eyes for fashion, designs, clothings and latest addition in the market.
She began her fashion career working as a sketch artist and buyer at a local evening wear boutique in 2012. This experience afforded her the opportunity to travel the country and work with some of the top designers in the evening wear industry. In 2014, She was accepted to the leading Fashion School in Paris where She gained an extensive knowledge of design, draping, illustration, pattern making, and sewing..
She opened Clothing boutique where she created custom designs for pageant clients, dancers, and country music artists.. She quickly gained a following of devoted pageant clients which put her custom designs under the spotlight and in front of judges. This strengthened her focus on the fit, silhouette, flow, and movement of her designs.
As a successful fashion designer and business owner, Bopharath was selected to compete on Project Runway Season 5 in 2016, where she placed in the Top 5 designers. This experience, her charming personality, and eye for glamorous style propelled Bopharath to her own celebrity status., She started coming on shows, tv channels and appeared on various local network.
Bopharath has had been designing exclusive customized dresses on the French lace with high end embroidery and also on pure silk that is 100% handmade. She entered into USA market in 2019 and is looking for her exclusive clients and distribution partners in the region.
